Job Description – Azure DevOps Engineer

**Location:** Onsite – Bangalore / Chennai

**Experience:** 7–8 Years

**Certification:** Microsoft Azure Certification (Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities

• Provision and configure multiple Azure environments (Dev, SIT, UAT) with secure networking.
• Configure and manage Azure Container Apps for application deployment.
• Collaborate directly with client IT teams to set up Azure environments in their infra.
• Optimize cloud costs while ensuring performance and reliability.
• Contribute to architectural decisions (deployment, scalability, infra).
• Document deployment processes and prepare guides for client teams.
• Implement monitoring & logging solutions using Azure Application Insights.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) for Python applications.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure security, compliance, and governance.

Required Qualifications

• 7–8 years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in Azure services (Container Apps, SQL/NoSQL, AI services).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep).
• Proficient in containerization (Docker).
• Understanding of Python application deployment.
• Experience with monitoring/observability (Azure Application Insights).
• Strong cloud security expertise.
• Ability to work independently with client IT teams.
• Excellent communication & documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (DevOps Engineer Expert, Solutions Architect).
• Experience with automated test case execution.
• Knowledge of cost optimization strategies in Azure.
• Strong Git-based workflows & branching strategy knowledge.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Experience deploying enterprise applications across multiple environments.
