About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Backend Developer with 4–6 years of experience to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in NestJS, Node.js, and Microservices, along with a good grasp of backend systems design, development, and integration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using NestJS and Node.js
• Build and manage scalable microservices architecture
• Design and consume REST APIs effectively
• Integrate with MongoDB and manage efficient data models and queries
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and best development practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend systems

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• NestJS
• Node.js
• Microservices architecture
• MongoDB
• REST API development

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Message Queues: Kafka / RabbitMQ
• API Security (OAuth2, JWT, etc.)
• Redis Caching strategies
• TypeScript proficiency

Preferred Knowledge (Bonus Points)

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes
• Cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Performance tuning and observability tools
